Swiss Q2 Industrial output up 4.3 yr-on-yr, orders up 8.9 pct yr-on-yr

Swiss industrial production excluding construction was up 4.3 pct in the second quarter compared to a year earlier, while orders excluding construction rose 8.9 pct from a year earlier, the statistics office said.
The rise in output was mainly due to a rise in consumer and durable goods, while the rise in manufacturing orders was due to higher demand for capital investment and durable goods, it said.
