Italy Aug final CPI up 0.2 pct vs July; up 2.2 yr-on-yr; preliminary confirmed

Consumer prices rose 0.2 pct in August from July and rose 2.2 pct year-on-year, according to final data released by the statistics office ISTAT which confirmed preliminary figures released Aug 30.
Consumer prices according to the EU harmonised index were down 0.2 pct month-on-month and up 2.3 pct year-on-year, also in line with preliminary data.
