Euro zone Sept services PMI dips to 56.7 vs 57.4 in Aug

Services sector growth in the 12-nation single currency area eased a touch in September, although expansion remained at healthy levels, sources said of a key survey. The Purchasing Managers' Index for the service sector slipped slightly to 56.7 in September from August's upwardly revised 57.4. The August reading was initially estimated at 57.1. Analysts polled by AFX News had predicted a smaller drop to 57.0. A reading above 50 indicates growth.
