Italy Sept gross industrial output seen up 0.5 pct year-on-year

Italy's industrial output is expected to have risen a gross 0.5 pct in September from a year earlier, slowing from being up 1.3 pct in August, said employers organisation Confindustria. On a seasonally-adjusted basis, and corrected for working days, September output is seen unchanged from August, while August was up 0.8 pct from the previous month, the organisation said. Industry orders rose 1.4 pct in September, from a year earlier, after rising 6.8 pct in August, it said. The data is based on a survey of 380 medium to large firms.
